The board-certified pathologists at Danbury, Norwalk and New Milford Hospitals work closely with pathologist assistants, medical technologists and administrative support teams to provide close to three million tests per year for patients in our expansive network.

Full Service Reference Laboratory

Constitution Diagnostics Network (CDN) combines the existing,  high-quality, clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory testing capabilities of WCHN’s three community-based hospitals (Danbury Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and New Milford Hospital) with esoteric testing capabilities offered by Sonic Healthcare USA through its Sunrise Medical Laboratories division and other affiliates.

The combined healthcare services will result in more choices for local physicians and healthcare providers. As an added benefit, approximately 80 percent of the testing completed will be performed at WCHN, maintaining critical jobs and skills along with the provision of healthcare services within the state.
